nice posting, I've done what you told me to do, and I am curious, when I moved the windows, there is left window from the previous one, it seem it is not good refresh, so the background still left in the screen. How to fixed it up ? Thank you
I have the exact same problem...I really don't know why it's happening, but I'll be grateful if someone finds a way to fix this. Although it seems impossible, looks like it's some incompatibility issue with something in the wussiwassi inside the OpenGL of mother of all drivers....I don't think it's something that can be fixed via CLI.........
Wow this looks so neat, however still buggy on ubuntu, whenever I try to fast forward or pause a video the sound crashes and had to end up restarting the system each time otherwise there is a weird noise that keeps repeating itself. I hope those bugs can be fixed.

any issues related to crashing could be down to pulseaudio, try completely removing it from ubuntu and like me you may find pausing etc whilst watching a video is bug free
Fujio: the program crash with pulseaudio. so easy way is just kill Pulseaudio and try 'traditional' ALSA. on your terminal...
$sudo killall pulseaudio
$sudo alsa force-reload
then go to system-setting-sound, change all options to ALSA.
try XBMC again. I hope you guys solve the problem.
Hey fuji i have the same problem, but I haven't tried the "fix" from sierra. I'm also having a problem with streaming video. every couple of minutes or so the video speeds up and i miss a few minutes of dialogue.
sorry missed the reply from mike, do as he has said and it should fix your issues!
