Hmm. Is there a rollback feature for when it doesn't work, coz I cursed when I upgraded to Gutsy last year and nothing worked properly.
ReplyDeleteMaybe I should make a complete system backup (not just my home folder) before I try it out...
Slippy, I suggest you search launchpad.net for issues related to your hardware, because everything runs smoothly, im thinking the only issues that could be lurking are mainly driver issues, Ive been running Hardy for months and its been stable, just fixes and improvements to gutsy
ReplyDeleteI'll let y'all know how it goes, lol.
ReplyDeleteWhen Gutsy was released last year, I was very eager and tried to upgrade on release day. However, the load on the servers made downloading the updates take all day.
ReplyDeleteI'm already using Hardy beta, but I recommend that anybody that is eager to upgrade, either upgrade to the devel version now (it's pretty stable), or wait about a week after the release.
